A beautiful depiction of Our Lady the Immaculate Conception crushing the head of the snake. This lovely work of art stands 26cm (approx 10.2 inches) in height and is hand painted in full color with traditional blue cloak lined in gold over white robe belted in gold.
Hand carved from the finest kiln dried lindenwood from the forests of the Italian Alps the delicate hands are carved seperately and fit easily into the extended arms for display.
In the valleys of northern Italy's Alps the Bernardi family of artisans have been creating exquisite nativities and statuary generation after generation for over 400 years. Each unique piece is then hand stained, painted and gilded with impeccable attention to detail - no two exactly alike.
