Noel by The Priests

The Priests -Fathers Eugene O'Hagan, his brother Martin, and their old school friend David Delargy -are one of the most celebrated acts in religious music, having sold three million albums worldwide.
This is they're new album of Christmas carols entitled Noel just in time for the holiday season.>br>
Noel is sure to be a welcome addition this Christmas and features some of the most cherished seasonal songs&mash;everything from "God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman," "What Child Is This," "Hark The Herald Angels Sing," to "Oh Come All Ye Faithful," and "Silent Night."

It is a solemnly beautiful record, stately and humble and full of grace. "We have given each of these songs a different interpretation and a little priestly twist," grins Father Martin O'Hagan. "I hope it will get everybody into the festive spirit, and I hope there will be something here for everyone."

Fathers Eugene and Martin O'Hagan, who are brothers, and David Delargy has each achieved the ambitions nurtured when they were at school together of having their own parishes in the Northern Ireland diocese of Down and Connor where they tend to the spiritual needs of thousands of devout parishioners. Today they formally begin their work as The Priests, their music will be religious and spiritually inspired classics including Ave Maria and Panis Angelicus. The Priests have recorded all the tracks from the album with the Philharmonic Academy of Rome Choir from St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican. The album will be stickered to highlight the Philharmonic Academy of Rome's involvement as well.
