Welcome to this fourth issue of the quarterly electronic Newsletter of In His Name Catholic Store!
In his address to Catholic College Presidents on April 17, 2008, Pope Benedict XVI said, "First and foremost every Catholic educational institution is a place to encounter the living God who in Jesus Christ reveals his transforming love and truth." For this fourth issue we have chosen to introduce the Thomas International Center, an initiative of cultural renewal in light of the Western and Christian intellectual traditions, focused primarily in the Raleigh-Durham area. This issue, we will also be hosting the final piece of a four-volume series on the new Roman Missal by a prominent professor of sacred liturgy, the views of the international lay apostolate Catholics United for the Faith on Mary's Perpetual Virginity, and a Catholic website review. A calendar of upcoming events will close and recap the issue.
